On last night’s Colbert Report, Stephen Colbert interviewed Marion Nestle, professor of food studies, nutrition, and public health, about America’s sugar shortage. While Nestle proposes that the shortage is merely a manufactured crisis, Colbert does his best to amp up the panic and present the harsh realities of just how awful things will be in a world without sugar. We’re with Stephen on this one, a future without high fructose corn syrup is a future we don’t want to be a part of.
