“Avoid the Noid” is an oldie but a goodie, and Houston Press’ list of 10 classic restaurant commercials got us thinking about it and now we just can’t stop. The Noid is so awesomely cheesy it makes us long for our old school NES and a Yo! Noid cartridge so we can waste away the rest of our days spoiling pizza and bouncing around on a pogo stick…sorry, we mean “pizza crusher.” In any event, this commercial takes us all the way back to 1988, when George Michael topped the charts and gas only cost a nickle, or a dollar, we really can’t remember, we were way too busy watching TV.
