?Okay, so our headline might be a tad over the top, but Cap’n Crunch was indeed just named the Worst Sweetened Cereal, according to MSNBC’s list of the 20 worst kids’ foods in America. The article unfairly cites Cap’n Crunch as being, “a food scientist’s concoction of worthless foodlike particles and chemicals,” obviously failing to take fun into the equation.
We’re guessing if the people who compiled MSNBC’s list had spent more time in the Crunch Clubhouse and less time in Parent’s Paradise, they’d realize this cereal is about more than just delivering kids the minimum acceptable amount of nutrients. Plus, if parents are really that concerned with their child’s cereal choices, they can opt to buy a Cap’n Crunch Doughnut for them instead. We hear it helps cut back on the sugar.
