It should come as no surprise that over the past 20 years portion sizes have increased exponentially. And, like a rapidly expanding balloon our nation’s waistlines have grown right along with them. As obvious as this news might be, Divine Caroline has taken the time to put together several comparisons of portion sizes from 20 years ago and portions from today. Seeing them right alongside each other is a bit disturbing, totally unsurprising, and makes you waver between being thankful we get so much “bang for our buck,” and being ashamed we can eat so much. Either way, thanks Divine Caroline, for sending us into the weekend feeling unhealthy, gluttonous, and bad about ourselves. Keep up the good work.
