Here’s what was being written about today in the world of food and dining news:
- Chow Bella gets things started with a look at the new twists on old school Halloween candy. Though changing the color on Candy Corn hardly seems like it should count as a new twist.

- City of Ate asks the important question, “how do you define a dive bar?” We define it as any bar where we have a higher than 10% chance of getting stabbed.
- Fork in the Road has a Freaky Food Foto. And yeah, the alliterative spelling was their doing, not ours.
- And lastly, The Hot Dish is bringing us an after dinner drink, with 5 great bottles of ice wine. The best part, their suggestions are affordable to boot.
