Here’s what was being written about today in the world of food and dining news:
- Cafe Society kicks things off by polling staff and readers about what would be on their perfect Thanksgiving day menu. Our thoughts are that as long as there’s plenty of gravy, the rest of the menu items are pretty much secondary.

| Okay, so turkey is also essential. |
- In a Thanksgiving edition of Cheap Wines that Don’t Suck, Clean Plate Charlie offers up a few value wines to pair with your meal.
- Also in the holiday spirit, Cafe Society offers up 10 ways to ruin a Thanksgiving turkey. Although the Bacon wrapped turkey doesn’t really look ruined so much as bizarre.
- And lastly, as a Black Friday special, Eating Our Words has assembled the 5 worst mall foods in America. Perfect fodder for debate while waiting in front of Sears at 3:00 am.
