Here’s what was being written about today in the world of food and dining news:
- Eating Our Words kicks things off with a dark look at five food shortage nightmares. Fortunately, even their worst-case scenarios contain ample amounts of beer and wine.
- Meanwhile, City of Ate takes a look at the top 10 Thanksgiving dinners ever put on film. Any list with Planes, Trains, and Automobiles on it is okay in our book.
- In humane lobster killing news, the CrustaStun will help keep your lobster slayings slightly less gruesome. Unfortunately, a customs delay led to a good old-fashioned boiling.
- And lastly, in this week’s edition of Cheap Wine That Doesn’t Suck, Clean Plate Charlie features a long-winded wine in Charles de Fere Cuvee Jean-Louis Blanc de Blancs Brut. By the time we say the name, we’re already too tired to have a drink.
