Here’s what was being written about today in the world of food and dining news:
- Seattle Weekly’s Voracious kicks things off with a discussion of how Burger King isn’t even trying anymore. It’s one thing to steal from McDonald’s, but turning around and bragging about it is, well, pretty amusing actually.

- The Hot Dish tells us what we want to hear, in an article about how a new study claims chocolate is good for heart health. Let us guess, the words “in moderation” probably appear at least once.
- On a healthier note, Squid Ink talks about what’s currently fresh at the farmers markets. As if anyone wants to go from reading about chocolate to hearing about dandelion greens.
- And lastly, Eating Our Words takes things back to the basics and shows us how to cook an egg. We don’t want to spoil it, but there’s a skillet involved.
