Here’s what was being written about today in the world of food and dining news:

  • Seattle Weekly’s Voracious starts things off with a rundown of some of their readers’ favorite fictional restaurants. We’d forgotten all about Waitress, but now that they mention it, some of those pies looked mighty tasty.

  • Squid Ink welcomes in spring by encouraging everyone to drink Botasea. We haven’t actually tried it, but spring wine sounds like a winner to us.
  • Also on the wine front, Eating Our Words is offering up another installment of Wine of the Week. This time they’re featuring Laxas AlbariƱo 2009.
