Food Roundup for March 2
Here’s what’s going on today in the world of food and dining:
In a list that makes us envious, Cafe Society has broken down the ten worst fast-food ad campaigns. It’s got everything from creepy Willard Scott as the original Ronald McDonald to the “Quiznos Rats,” but we’re taking serious issue with the inclusion of “Avoid the Noid.” We had the video game, and it was amazing.

And, if you’re looking for another list to help pass some time, here are 5 foods you don’t need to give up for Lent. We don’t want to completely spoil it, but let’s just say you can continue to rock the asparagus quiche guilt-free.
On the drinking front, here is a recommendation for what to buy if you could only have 10 liquors for a home bar. On the other hand, our recommendation would be to break the rules and just buy more than 10.
And lastly, even though the show is over, the Top Chef news just keeps a-comin’. It looks like everyone’s favorite Italian contestant, Fabio, is going to be getting his own TV show. No additional details are available at the moment, but we’re guessing his accent is going to be dialed up to 11 and the charm will be out in full force.
