Here’s what was being written about today in the world of food and dining news:
- Fat City makes a compelling argument that beer snobs are overtaking wine snobs as the most difficult to please people at your party. Apparently, a case of PBR just won’t cut it with some people.

| Okay, most people. |
- Bites talks about the hidden manipulations of menu writing. You know, like adding lots of pictures and using whacky fonts…
- Meanwhile, Short Order has video footage of Anthony Bourdain making six tons of cocaine disappear. Though it’s not what you’d hope for–he just burns it.
- And, lastly, Voracious has a few food predictions for 2010. If they’re right about the rise of fried chicken and high-end hot dogs, we’ll be pleasantly surprised.
