Food Roundup for Feb 11
Here’s what’s new today in the world of restaurants, food, and just plain good eatin’:
It’s an oyster extravaganza! And, if you want a heaping portion of oyster knowledge dropped on you then you’re definitely going to want to checkout the article Oyster Lovers Unite. Or, if you’d rather not read, and just want to drool over some pretty pictures, there’s always oyster “food porn” waiting to satisfy your appetite.

Also, if you’re a fan of Wolfgang Puck then you’ll want to read the celebrity chef’s interview in today’s 10 Questions. Unfortunately, no one asks him if he’s still jealous that Emeril got his own NBC sitcom.
In unrelated vegetarian news, a Seattle writer compares a meat substitute to the real thing, cooking up some Lemon “Chicken” and some Lemon Chicken. We’ll give you one guess which of the two tasted better.
Lastly, because we’re always on the lookout for quality beer recommendations, here’s a weird ass beer of the week brought to us by our friends in San Francisco. Since one person who tried it remarked, “It tastes like beer with lemon juice!” we figure even if you can’t actually track this unique beer down in your area, you can always compromise and just grab a six-pack of Bud Light Lime. We’re sure it’s basically the same thing.
