Here’s what was being written about today in the world of food and dining news:
- Voracious kicks things off with a bang, discussing today’s release of the S. Pellegrino list of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants. Oh, to have unlimited money and enough time to travel to each of them…

- Squid Ink provides some tips for pairing wine with oysters, in a list appropriately titled, “The 10 Top Wines to Pair with Oysters.“
- Fork In the Road crushes the dreams of female stereotypes everywhere with a report on how chocolate lovers are more likely to be depressed. Fortunately, the new study didn’t delve into what it means when you eat a pint of Ben and Jerry’s straight from the carton.
- And lastly, Short Order reminds us why fast-food restaurants can’t have nice things, and takes a look at the fervor over Burger King’s new Non-Alcoholic “Mimosa.” If fear that a non-alcoholic drink is going to corrupt your child is the only issue you have with Burger King, maybe it’s time to STFU.
