Food Roundup for June 15

Here’s what was being written about today in the world of food and dining news:

The Hot Dish is reporting on a grave injustice in the world of fast food. Apparently a disabled stripper is outraged that White Castle won’t allow her to take a motorized scooter through the drive-thru, and is claiming it’s unfair able-bodied customers can get sliders an hour later simply by using their cars.

Also in tiny burger news, Eating Our Words has a report from the recent Houston “slider crawl.”

Cafe Society has a recap from the Nathan’s Hot Dog Qualifier in Denver. Suddenly we’re feeling a little nauseous just from reading about it.

And lastly, if you’re looking for a new recipe to try, Fork in the Road’s got you covered with Francis Mallmann’s Peached Pork. Even after reading about the hot dog eating contest, our appetite is magically starting to return.
