Food Roundup for April 9
Here’s what was being written about today in the world of food and dining news:
Hell’s Kitchen is down to just 6 contestants, and since 3 of them are from Florida, Short Order scored an interview with chefs Paula, Danny and Gio. We’re hoping when the interview concluded the NewTimes reporter told them to “piss off.” You know? Just to make sure they felt right at home.

In child obesity news, a group of San Francisco parents are concerned about a Taco Truck being withing 1500 feet of a high school. As per usual, it’s the teachers who are going to be getting a raw deal when the taco truck that was awarded Best Burrito is ultimately forced to move.
In other taco related stories, Fat City alerted us to an enjoyable little drive-thru folk song performed by the comedic duo Rhett and Link. It’s performed at a Taco Bell, and despite seeming like an obvious promotion, it’s well worth taking a look.
And lastly, in booze news, a new brand of flavored tequilas has been released, and apparently they’re much better than you’d expect. We’ll try to reserve our judgment until we’ve had a chance to sample a couple of flavors, but we’re remaining highly skeptical of chocolate vodka.
