Here’s what was being written about yesterday in the world of food and dining news:
- Stick a Fork In It kicks things off with a list of the five hardest foods to give up for Lent. Basically what it all boils down to is, we’re not giving up our coffee.

- Clean Plate Charlie reports that Target is going to stop selling farm-raised salmon and instead begin selling only wild-caught.
- The Hot Dish brings word of an unlikely partnership between Sega and Chiquita. Possibly the lamest Sega partnership since Ecco and Ecco, Jr.
- And, lastly, Eating Our Words has scoured the store shelves for Venison Jerky and Pinot Noir; an odd but rewarding combination.
