Food roundup for november 12

Here’s what was being written about yesterday in the world of food and dining news:

• Cafe Society gets things started in fine fashion with a list of the 10 most unappetizing food scenes from the big screen. Though we’re not quite sure how Pink Flamingos didn’t end up on the list.

• Short Order digs deep and comes up with 10 new video games for foodies. Though we can’t think of any reason a foodie couldn’t enjoy playing Modern Warfare 2 just as much.

• Clean Plate Charlie gives us another beer of the week. This week’s brew is Avery Salvation, and apparently it goes great with a Sunday mass.

• And lastly, Fat City brings word of new salt substitutes butting in on table salt’s near monopoly. All we really want to know is, will the salt substitutes still kill slugs?
