Here’s what was being written about today in the world of food and dining news:
- The Hot Dish kicks things off with the top five lame food-related Halloween costume ideas. Though judging from a couple, we’re pretty sure they meant to say awesome.

| You have to admit that’s one kick-ass costume. |
- Clean Plate Charlie announces the Beer of the Week, and this time it’s Abita Turbodog. The review says it “goes well with everything,” and we’re more than willing to test that claim.
- If this morning’s recap from Amber wasn’t enough, Fork in the Road has another write-up of last night’s Top Chef action. And yes, even a day later, it’s hard to get over what a terrible name Revolt is.
- And lastly, Fat City takes a look at the rebranded Every Flavor Beans. Because there’s nothing funnier than getting a friend to eat a jelly bean that tastes like dirt.
