Whether or not you’ve already determined how much coffee (if any) you need in order to make it through the day, chances are you haven’t done much digging into how much caffeine it would take in order to kill you. There’s probably a couple of valid reasons for not knowing this information: 1) You know it’s an excessive amount anyway, and 2) Why would you want to kill yourself with caffeine?
Well, because knowing is half the battle (and for simple curiosity’s sake), the good folks at Energy Fiend have put together a quick test to determine, “How much of your favorite energy drink, soda, or caffeinated food would it take to kill you?” All you have to do is enter your weight and beverage of choice, and science does the rest. Or, at the very least, it spits out a number we’re willing to blindly trust because it has a fancy graphic attached to it. Either way, it’s still pretty cool.
