A Burger King in Sunset Hills, MO has come under scrutiny for enforcing a strict no shirt, no shoes, no service policy and turning away a mother and child because her 6-month-old baby wasn’t wearing any shoes. Obviously this falls pretty firmly on the side of favoring corporate policy over good old common sense, but the level of outrage in the coverage from CNN might be taking things a tad too far. Saying the Burger King manager was out of line is one thing, but saying, “Everybody loves cute baby feet! They’re awesome!” seems like a bit of a stretch.
