Today in London, the World’s Largest Cupcake was unveiled. The impressive pastry was approximately 2 meters by 1.25 meters, and was expected to feed around 2,000 people. You can find plenty of pictures at Londonist.com as well as some descriptions from people who actually tasted the over sized treat. The author states that the cupcake is, “decent enough,” which we’re thinking is pretty high praise for a dessert based more on volume than actual quality. Still, we’re totally bummed that the first person in line didn’t just lick the frosting and claim the entire cupcake for himself.
