Vintage Beer Ads Always Good For a Laugh

When it comes to products like cigarettes and alcohol, old-timey adverts are almost always good for a nice chuckle. The below ad for Anheuser Busch’s Malt Nutrine promotes some of the product’s many benefits. The magical elixir was marketed in the early 1900s as a “food-tonic for nursing mothers,” but was sadly discontinued in 1942, forcing mothers everywhere to take up smoking instead.
