StarTribune Takes an Informal Poll of Favorite Cookbooks

​After polling a cross section of chefs, instructors, and cookbook authors, yesterday the Star Tribune published an article showcasing the top cookbooks chosen “if you could pick just one.” Among the selections were The Gourmet Cookbook, Simple French Food, The Professional Chef, and of course, the recently rejuvenated The Joy of Cooking. However, we’re curious what cookbook you consider an essential item. So, if you had to choose just one cookbook, what would it be?
