Our initial judgment of Pizza Hut’s iPhone app hasn’t changed: it’s stupid, pointless, and the sort of ridiculous creation that could only come from a marketing meeting of out of touch execs discussing “those hip kids with their iPhones.” However, perhaps because the ability to apply sauce to your buffalo wings (not a euphemism) simply by shaking your phone wasn’t incentive enough, Pizza Hut is now offering a 20% discount to anyone placing an order via the awesome new app.
We’re not sure this limited time offer is going to be enough to rocket Pizza Hut’s iPhone app past such heavy hitters as Cow Toss and iFart, but it probably can’t hurt either.
