Forget egg nog, hot chocolate or any other wimpy holiday drinks. It’s time to really celebrate the holidays when Chick-fil-A starts peddling their 930-calorie, 31-grams-of-fat peppermint chocolate chip milkshake (for a 20 oz).
Since the beginning of November this year and available for a limited time only, those lovely, spelling-challenged bovines will be hand-spinning these thick and holiday appropriate shakes. Be aware, however, that while those crazy cows will tell you all day long to “eat chikin,” they will probably refrain from warning you that the shake you’re slurping takes up a minimum of 45 percent of your daily recommended caloric intake.
If you’re feeling seasonally challenged and need a sugary beverage pick-me-up, you can also head to Starbucks for some of their less calorie-heavy caffeine inclusive drinks, like the Peppermint Mocha Frappucino, with only 360 calories and 5 grams of fat.
