The Federal Court court in Kuala Lumpur <a href=\"http:\/\/news.bbc.co.uk\/2\/hi\/asia-pacific\/8243270.stm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ruled that McCurry was in no way trying to pass itself off as being affiliated with &#8220;the McDonald&#8217;s empire,&#8221;<\/a> and brought the almost decade long legal battle to a halt.
