Here’s what’s happening today in food and dining news:<\/p>\n

Right on the heels of our post this morning about yet another restaurant adopting a, “pay what you want” philosophy<\/a>, here is a slideshow about the SAME Cafe<\/a> that actually reports what some of the customers have been offering as compensation for their “free meal.”<\/p>\n

In other news, Dairy Queen is soliciting bloggers to help advertise their new “Sweet Deals,”<\/a> and are promising to send a gift card to anyone who writes about what they would order under the new promotion. Um, how about two cheeseburgers, fries, and a small drink please? Also, is there any chance you can overnight that giftcard? We’re kind of hungry right now…<\/p>\n

On a totally different note, tonight will mark another episode of Hell’s Kitchen, in which Chef Ramsay will inevitably find new and amusing ways to humiliate and degrade the contestants. The Village Voice sat down for an interview with a professional dominatrix, and discussed some of the similarities between Hell’s Kitchen and the world of S&M;<\/a>. <\/p>\n

And lastly, because it’s almost the weekend, here’s an awesome drink recipe for a mango mojito<\/a>. We plan on making at least four or five of these tonight while we hang out and home waiting to see if Normund Gentle gets booted from American Idol.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
