It does seem like donuts are popping up at an increasing number of upscale restaurants, but is this really a bad thing? Whether they&#8217;re called donuts, beignets, or some other fancy sounding name, it&#8217;s still fried dough, and it&#8217;s still delicious. And, having the option to enjoy some fried dough and a cup of coffee after a meal is a luxury we&#8217;ve been deprived of for far too long. The only people who don&#8217;t like donuts are vegans and communists, and since we&#8217;re neither, we&#8217;re ready to embrace the upscale donut trend.
