{"id":515,"date":"2009-05-20T13:57:32","date_gmt":"2009-05-20T13:57:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dailyfork.com\/the_13_year_old_celebrity_chef\/"},"modified":"2021-04-22T20:00:35","modified_gmt":"2021-04-22T20:00:35","slug":"the_13_year_old_celebrity_chef","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyfork.com\/new\/the_13_year_old_celebrity_chef\/","title":{"rendered":"The 13-Year-Old Celebrity Chef"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After already having received some significant <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nypost.com\/seven\/08272008\/entertainment\/food\/small_fry_126246.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">press from the NY Post<\/a>, 13-year-old chef Greg Grossman was recently <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chicagotribune.com\/features\/food\/chi-greg-grossman-young-chefmay18,0,2167715.story\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">featured by the Chicago Tribune in a brief interview<\/a> that actually makes him seem like less of a novelty act and more like a genuine prodigy.<\/p>\n<p>The short list of topics ranged from his work in molecular gastronomy to his open invitation to shadow world renowned chef Eric Ripert at Le Bernardin. However, there&#8217;s not a single answer in the interview that gives away the chef&#8217;s age or leads you to question his maturity. While it&#8217;s still hard to wrap your head around a child cooking gourmet cuisine, Greg Grossman has celebrity chef written all over him.
