A Dracula themed experience in grisly Gothic fashion. None of that Twilight sensitive vampire nonsense, just the classic blood sucking stuff of legend. <\/p>\n

Why It’s Awesome: <\/em><\/p>\n

Because it’s kind of creepy in an incredibly safe way.<\/p>\n

It’s a restaurant specifically geared toward anorexics. Menu items are given names that are in no way related to food so customers won’t feel uncomfortable ordering.<\/p>\n

Why It’s Awesome: <\/em><\/p>\n

Because it was bold enough to target the only segment of the population not in the market for food.<\/p>\n

Ludicrous extravagance. Gold offers “the ultimate in refined luxury” and even goes as far as providing customers with gold plated menus. <\/p>\n

Why It’s Awesome: <\/em><\/p>\n

Because there’s nothing better than sticking it to poor people.<\/p>\n

\n9) Khmer Rouge Experience Cafe (Phnom Penh, Cambodia) — No Longer Open<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pretty much the opposite of Gold, The Khmer Rouge Experience Cafe attempted to take customers back to the Pol Pot era and provide a reminder of genocide. <\/p>\n

Why It’s Awesome: <\/em><\/p>\n

Because it might be the worst theme restaurant idea ever.<\/p>\n

According to the website, “The restaurant offers an excellent selection of traditional Thai cooking with vegetables, fruits and traditional herbs grown in the resort’s own vegetable garden.” But, according to the name and pictures, there are condoms involved.<\/p>\n

Why It’s Awesome: <\/em><\/p>\n

Because it makes absolutely no sense.<\/p>\n
