However, if you want the scoop on what you probably also missed out on, <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.pitch.com\/fatcity\/2009\/04\/wendys_reverse_auction.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fat City has the story<\/a>. Spoiler warning: be prepared to cry when you find out you missed a chance to win Chuck Norris&#8217; jacket.<\/p>\n<p>Also, in drinking news, City of Ate drops some <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.dallasobserver.com\/cityofate\/2009\/04\/handle_the_proof_pernod_absint.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;facts&#8221; on Pernod Absinthe&#8217;s marketing department<\/a>. However, we didn&#8217;t really have a chance to read the article because we were too busy closing our eyes and plugging our ears like a little kid. <\/p>\n<p>And lastly, if you want some good weekend reading, Seattle Weekly recommends <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.seattleweekly.com\/voracious\/2009\/04\/because_kitchen_confidential_w.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cooking Dirty by Jason Sheehan<\/a>. We&#8217;re guessing it&#8217;s the perfect way to feel like an industry insider without actually having to get your hands dirty or do any of the work.
