This story comes courtesy of one of our sister blogs over at Riverfront Times, and, as we reported yesterday, the McRib has come crashing back onto the market. Unfortunately, one of their online ads touting the overall sauciness of the McRib sandwich is combining rather poorly with stories related to actual violence. As you can see from the screen shot below, pairing an article about a drug-related murder with giant red splotches of barbecue sauce is probably far from ideal.

​The ad also appears on several other violence related stories, but as loyal fans of the McRib sandwich can attest, one small advertising misstep isn’t enough to dampen the excitement over the sandwiche’s triumphant return.
