?Finalists for the 2010 James Beard Foundation Awards will be vying for the coveted distinction and recognition this prestigious award bestows upon America’s finest.
In the “Outstanding Chef” category, our Top Chef buddy, Tom Colicchio of Craft in New York City stood out, along with his competitors José Andrés of Minibar in Washington, D.C., Gary Danko of his namesake in San Francisco, Suzanne Goin of Lucques in Los Angeles and Charles Phan of The Slanted Door, also in San Fran.

Babbo, Chef Mario Batali’s joint in NYC – Nominated in “Outstanding Restaurant” category
Alinea, Grant Achatz’s place in Chicago – Nominated for “Outstanding Service”
