Since the IOC told Chicago, our president, and the savior known as Oprah to screw off, we’ve been getting psyched about the 2016 Olympics in one of the coolest cities ever. Ordering a Rosetta Stone Portuguese set and gathering a collection of samba music, we’re gearing up for the bootylicious time in Ipanema.

In possibly our most important preparation, we’re learning how to make a caipirinha, the official drink of Brazil. Made with a liquor of fermented sugarcane (think rum with more personality) called cachaça, limes, sugar and crushed ice, it’s a cocktail that puts a spring in your step and a samba in your soul.
