How to Make the Perfect Pesto

Buying pesto in a store is all well and good, but if you want the perfect pesto you’re going to need to expend a little more effort. No off-the-shelf pesto can compete with homemade, and this simple recipe from Chef Paolo Laboa has been dubbed “transcendent.” Just listen to the way Marcia Gagliardi fawns all over it in the video’s introduction and try to deny you’re not just a little curious about whether any recipe can live up to that kind of hype.

We’re still a little skeptical, but the end result does look pretty spectacular.
