How to Cook Ramen, Rube Goldberg-Style

If you want a bowl of Ramen you have two options: you can follow the directions on the box…or…you could make a ridiculously elaborate contraption to arrive at the same end result. Obviously, if you’re competing in the contest seen below, you’re probably not going to win any prizes just by whipping out a pot of boiling water and tossing in some noodles. A real champion would devise a 6-minute ordeal of weights, levers, marbles and, of course, fire, to finally culminate in what looks like a relatively unappetizing bowl of ramen.

The video has been around for a while, but since this Rube Goldberg-like device is infinitely less played out than anything in the upcoming Saw VI, we figured it deserved some extra attention.
