It took 549 hours and $15,000 to assemble the life-sized bread creation seen in the video below. A team of 17 people worked to create a Formula One race car entirely from bread, using a combined total of 15 kilograms of yeast, 14 liters of water, and 2 kilograms of salt to complete their masterpiece. The finished product was comprised of 22 types of bread and included over 1,000 loaves. You can find detailed descriptions of what breads were used at klik.tv, and although we’re guessing they won’t be winning any races with their car anytime soon, the emissions from this fresh baked vehicle must be some of the most hunger inducing fumes you’ll ever come across.
