Daily Star has reported that Coors is going to be releasing a clear beer for a summer test run in the UK. The new product comes in an effort to get more women drinking beer, and will only be 4% alcohol by volume. It will get its clear coloring from undergoing an extreme filtering process and “can be flavoured with green tea and exotic fruits.”
Although the idea of clear beer instantly brings to mind Clear Pepsi, the flavoring angle suggests something more along the lines of Zima or Smirnoff Ice, so honestly, we’re not really sure what to think. Either way, we’re kind of excited about the prospect of finally getting a Coors that not only tastes like water, but looks like it as well. Hey-oooo!
