The Burgerville chain has started a pilot program in one of their Portland stores in which they’re now making the nutritional information of your order available on the receipt itself. Because the specifics of each order can have a significant impact on the final tally, Burgerville is providing customers with the most detailed look at what they’re actually choosing to consume with each order. Not only does it show you how many calories you’re eating, but it also makes recommendations about what you could do better the next time you order. As if feeling guilty about adding bacon to your burger and subbing a milkshake for your soda isn’t enough, you’ll also be treated to some additional mocking when the receipt reiterates this might not have been the most nutritious choice. Awesome.
