A Brief Explanation of Why Budweiser Has “Less Beer Taste”

At a recent event in San Francisco, brewer Dave McLean offered a brief explanation of why Budweiser is less filling than some of the more robust microbrews. Though, “at the end of the day, we’re all producing a fermented barley product,” he explains Budweiser’s scientific process of engineering a beer that tastes “less beer-y” and is more drinkable.

Admittedly, the video would be more interesting if not for the irritating guy asking the questions, but even so, it does offer some insight into the incredible detail Budweiser goes through in order to create what ends up being a very boring product.
