It would appear that much like the gentleman in the video, we have also been opening bananas incorrectly for as long as we can remember. But, just because “that’s how monkeys do it,” is hardly cause to trumpet this method as the one and only correct way. In fact, one could easily argue the technique shown below is pretty much on par with stabbing a Capri Sun through the bottom because you don’t have enough finesse to get the straw in the proper hole. Sure it’s effective, but it also seems like cheating.
