?Say it ain’t so America. MSN is reporting that this year’s fourth of July weekend saw major decreases in the sale of beers such as Corona, Heineken, Budweiser, Bud-Light, and Miller Light. Apparently hard economic times means great gains for sub-premium (read: crappy) beers like Busch, Natural Light and Keystone, which all posted significant gains. This might not be overly surprising considering higher priced products have taken a substantial hit pretty much across the board. Still, we never would have thought that Bud-Light could be considered too high priced for a 4th of July picnic.
